All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and do not include applicable Stripe processing fees.

Stripe Processing Fees

When a barber collects payment from a client through the platform (via Stripe or Stripe Connect), Stripe's processing fees are charged back to the barber and deducted from their payout. Micro Elements does not absorb these fees — they are set by Stripe and passed through directly.

Standard Stripe Processing Rates (Canada)

• Domestic cards — 2.9% + $0.30 CAD per transaction
• International cards — 3.9% + $0.30 CAD per transaction

Rates are set by Stripe and are subject to change. Current rates are available at stripe.com/pricing.

For example, on a $50 haircut paid by a domestic card, the Stripe fee would be approximately $1.75 (2.9% of $50 + $0.30). The barber receives the remainder in their payout.

Subscription vs. Processing Fees

The $25/month Business System subscription is a platform fee paid to Micro Elements for access to the booking system, AI assistant, reminders, and client management tools. It is separate from and in addition to the Stripe processing fees described above, which apply only to individual client payments collected through the platform.
